For business owners

Clean books every month, ready for your accountant

Small businesses and founders in the US and UK use our Chartered Accountant-led team to keep their books up to date: transactions coded, accounts reconciled and a clear monthly report, so year-end and tax time are quick and cheaper.

What you get each month

  • Bank, card and payment-platform transactions coded in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
  • Bank and card reconciliations, with queries sent to you in one list.
  • Bills and invoices tracked, so you know who owes you and whom you owe.
  • A monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash summary in plain English.
  • Catch-up and clean-up of past months if your books are behind.
  • US: 1099 vendor listings and a year-end pack for your CPA. UK: VAT-ready records and MTD-compatible digital records for your accountant.

We prepare the books; your CPA or UK accountant files your returns. No CPA yet? We can introduce one.

Who it suits

  • US LLCs, S-corporations and C-corporations, including companies set up by founders based outside the US (see US bookkeeping for Indian founders).
  • UK limited companies, sole traders and landlords, including those now under Making Tax Digital for Income Tax.
  • Businesses whose books are months behind, or whose current bookkeeper has left.

Frequently asked questions

Can I outsource my bookkeeping to India?
Yes. A bookkeeping team in India can keep your QuickBooks Online or Xero books up to date through user access you grant and can remove at any time, without needing your bank login. Your own CPA or accountant still files your tax returns.
What does outsourced bookkeeping include?
Coding bank and card transactions, reconciliations, tracking bills and invoices, a monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash summary, catch-up of past months, and a year-end pack for your CPA or accountant.
How much does outsourced bookkeeping cost?
It is a fixed monthly fee based on your transaction volume and how far behind the books are, quoted after a free call. It usually costs much less than a local bookkeeper.
Do you file my US or UK tax returns?
No. We prepare the books and year-end pack; your US CPA or UK accountant files the returns. If you do not have one, we can introduce you.
