I became a CA not just to understand balance sheets, but to understand how businesses are actually built — the decisions, the trade-offs, the capital that makes them possible.

02 — Five years in

Over five years, I’ve moved from auditing PSU bank portfolios exceeding ₹5,000 Cr in aggregate balance sheet size, to anchoring a USD 3.75M Pre-Series A raise for an AI-driven EdTech startup. Today I serve VC-backed founders, family offices, and fast-growing businesses as their Virtual CFO and strategic finance partner.

Questions founders usually ask.

Can I register a US company from India?
Yes. Durgesh sets up Delaware C-Corps and LLCs for India-based founders — formation, EIN, bank account support and ongoing Delaware and IRS compliance — together with the FEMA overseas-investment filings (Form FC, APR) and TCS/Schedule FA reporting required in India.
What does a Virtual CFO do for a startup?
A Virtual CFO provides part-time senior finance leadership: 3-statement financial models, monthly MIS and board packs, runway and unit-economics tracking, fundraising support, and oversight of GST, TDS, ROC and FEMA compliance.
Do you help Indian startups set up a US Delaware holding company?
Yes. Durgesh designs and executes US Delaware holdco structures and flips, including valuation, ODI filings under the Overseas Investment Rules 2022, DTAA and transfer pricing, as well as Singapore, DIFC and Mauritius structures.
What is the deadline for FC-GPR filing?
FC-GPR must be filed on the RBI FIRMS portal within 30 days of allotting shares or other capital instruments to a foreign investor.
